I have been collecting vintage Mexican metalwork of the 1940s-70s and other modernist decorative arts for over twenty years. As an artist, art history aficianado, and member of an antique collecting and dealing family, I have great respect for artisans and craftspeople from all cultures, but I've always been captivated by the passion and strong design inherent in indigenous art and Mexican art in particular.
